Rattray's Morta Pipe

Bent shape, smooth finish, acrylic stem, 9mm filter, weight 1.98oz (56g).

Description

We present this Rattray's pipe in Morta (fossilized oak).

A few words about Morta :

Morta, also known as fossilized oak, is wood derived from ancient oaks that have been buried under sediments for thousands of years. This natural fossilization process occurs when trees fall into wet areas or lakes, where they are covered with sediments and preserved from decomposition due to the absence of oxygen.

Over time, the cellulose and other organic components of the wood are replaced by minerals, forming a stony substance. The result is fossilized wood, hard and dense, with colors often varying depending on the minerals present in the soil where the fossilization process took place.

Morta is often used in the production of pipes because it offers a unique combination of characteristics. It is lightweight, durable, and has absorbent properties that can enhance the smoking experience.

This pipe is fitted with an imitation cumberland acrylic stem.

It can be smoked with or without a 9mm filter.

Gift with this pipe: a classic 3-way pipe tool (sezame) and a packet of pipe cleaners.

With Fumerchic the pipe you see is the pipe you receive!
